As the year begins, we got together the core group of writers and photographers that helped run this journal through the Covid years and a bit beyond. We put it to a vote whether to simply decide we were done or not. The answer was, “keep it going”. The group has decided to stand up and do some more writing and shooting for it.
You can join our band of misfits if you want to. We are open to all sorts of pieces. We are not a newspaper but you can write an opinion piece if you wish. Humor is greatly needed in this time of fascism in America. However, we don’t just accept any and all writing. Some of us are ex-newspaper people, professional photographers, some have written books, one has a Pulitzer Prize under his belt. We accept new entries by vote. If we feel the author is unpublished and ‘ready’ we will be glad to include the piece. If not, we will gently say that it’s not ready for prime time. Please take it as a push to rewrite, and come back later.

I’ve lived here 30 years, discovering PT by chance like so many others but don’t get around much now. Really have enjoyed your articles in the past that refresh and add to my knowledge of area doings and history.
