Charlie Bermant retired from the Peninsula Daily News in 2016, capping off a 40-year journalism career that included local news, computer journalism and work for a syndicated columnist. Recently he has attempted to compensate for those squandered years and is learning how to play the guitar well. He is also a contributor to KPTZ 91.9 FM, here in Port Townsend.
